Your Voice In Action

SparkAction is co-sponsoring an open-source democracy experiment around a key issue: what it really takes to fix our schools so all young people graduate ready for college or training.  This is part of President Barack Obama’s goal that by 2020 the United States lead the world in college completion.
Secretary of Education Arne Duncan has agreed to answer the top questions chosen by the public on SparkAction.org as part of the Department of Education’s National Youth Summit being held in Washington, DC on February 26.

Can’t make it to the National Youth Summit in DC, but still want to make your voice heard on education? Don’t worry.  Secretary Duncan has agreed to answer the top questions submitted and voted on by young people online at  SparkAction. Visit http://sparkaction.org/summit.

You can vote even if you don’t submit a question by checking out what other young people have suggested and choosing your top five favorites. You can change your votes at any time until midnight on Feb. 18 by clicking Remove.

Voting closes on February 18.

Don’t miss a chance to have your voice included in the National Youth Summit.
